(SR) LinkScanner Lite & Pro

Link Scanner Pro

For those of you who surf the internet day by day and never think that your going to get hit by a virus, of course we know all that. But what happens when you get hit by an exploit? Then you’re stuck because many users online don’t know what are exploits and neither know how to protect themselves. Which comes the question to mind, how can we protect ourselves better?

Considering that there are a lot of Anti-Viruses that are barely implementing Exploit Prevention Technologies, which is the best one to use? The earliest Prevention tool I still use to this day is LinkScanner. Once I used it I was stuck with it. Until other Exploit Prevention Tools came later, the first one here was LinkScanner.

Link Scanner GUI

Link Scanner GUI

LinkScanner has one of the easiest GUI (Graphical User Interfaces) I’ve used. There’s nothing too complicated to do like change settings for everything. That’s the thing that many programs today are missing, simple GUIs. Even though some computer geeks might understand ever single part of the GUI, that leaves the users who yet have no experience with computers, which is going to hurt the most. If you’re looking for simple Exploit Protection that is simple on you but blocks Exploits to full strength, LinkScanner should be for you.

Another thing I like about LinkScanner is the way it scans Links before you goto them. Search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Msn, and other search engines are the easiest way to get infected because many of the links provided when you search up something aren’t always 100% safe.

Now the PRO Version of LinkScanner is the best I’ve used. The features it has included and the way it works is very handy. If you should goto a site that is infected and tries to drop a Trojan Downloader on your computer, LinkScanner Pro will block and tell you the details (URL, Name of Blocked Infection, etc.). LinkScanner Pro is far better than any Exploit Prevention I’ve seen.

I advise you to at least check out some details at the home site of Linkscanner. Many new Exploit Prevention Software are popping up but in my opinion, LinkScanner was here first and will stay first.
