IM Spam.. Now Skype Spam? PDF Print E-mail

Skype ScamIt all happened today when I was writing a post and boom! A skype message to my private skype was sent from an unknown member, any I don't hand out my Skype SN to anyone unless to trusted friends and contacts. I usually know all the people on my contact list, but this was a person whose name was "_ ___" (pretty obvious but some still fall for the trick). Which to a security guru like me, made it known that it was a spammer. When the user disguising as a "girl" sent me this message:

Hi gerardo [removed], this Jira. I am really looking for new boys. U can look at me here:

http://[removed for safety reasons]/profiles/albums/18. The full link that it was sent to me was:

Dangerous Site

The link was made into a picture for safety reasons.

This is a really odd message to me. I didn't click on this site and when I did a trace on it to see it had any redirects or so, it came to be that it did have a redirect in fact. It was redirected to:

The link was made into a picture for safety reasons. This site is a adult site so you will most likely be hit with an exploit or will have Malware dropped on your computer if you choose to go to that site.

Watch out for this skype member with the name: deepkira and do not click ANY links sent by the member. Close the window, and move on. Spread the word!

I use Skype, I haven't received this spam..yet. And i say that because it always comes sooner or later. At least you showed the redirect url without harming anyone. thanks for that!
