In many years of me working online and helping users face their troubles and threats from hackers and especially spammers and scammers, it seems that the area and location that all these scams and spams have been originating from have been mainly from India and places around India. I don't know that is some scammers have been using India as a target to make look bad, but it seems that some scammers actually do live in India and therefore, makes it very hard to disbelieve that it is originating from India and other countries around India.

Protect Your Email! Just when you think GMAIL was already rid of all security issues, there are new ones rising from different places, even from its own service! There have been numerous accounts of GMAIL accounts being hacked and stolen from phony emails saying that your account will be deleted if you do not respond with the information requested. Unfortunately, only new users and inexperienced computer users have been affected by this. The email is fake and this is how it looks likes: |

Is our privacy almost gone? Many of us are very concerned about our privacy, but how can we protect it online when it is constantly being taken away from our so called government? With many laws already passed and actions already done such as the new airport security and also the invasion of our privacy online. Now there is another bill that was passed June 20 which is called the Telecom Amnesty. This bill that was passed will expand the government's ability to install blanket wiretaps inside the United States. It will also put an end to the lawsuits filed against the nation's telecoms for helping the government spy on Americans without getting the necessary court orders. Total BS? I think yes.

Identity Theft Still A Major Problem! As many of you know already, Identity Theft is one of the most growing crimes today that both happen online and in the real world. But many things such as companies, credit watch, and other things say that they protect our identity, but is this really true? No, because many companies have already failed in protecting their client's information, they say they can protect our information, but in reality, there is always a way to get into our accounts without us knowing or them, or maybe sometimes the thieves get lucky and get away with it. So the real question here is, "Is identity theft something that will never go away?", and the answer is no.
