The Future of Myspace? It wasn't until recently I heard about a girl's suicide that included Myspace online. It made me think what would the future of Myspace hold? There have been several deaths of members because of Myspace. Now, I'm not saying that Myspace is the source to blame to, but the thing is, it was used to communicate with the people which lead them to their death. The only thing that will probably happen in the future is Myspace leading and getting included in more of these incidents. While many of the incidents are the person's itself fault, Myspace should not be left out of this.
Many users online goto Myspace, in fact, more than a million users a day goto Myspace. This worries a lot because you can never tell if many of them will go off without facing a problem or something that angers them because of a message or incident on Myspace. A couple of my friends have Myspace's to communicate, they told me that they experienced breakups, threats from enemies, and cruel messages. Myspace should be a place for friends, not a place to make your day go bad. Many of us get hurt because of somethings that our friends say to us on Myspace. Well, in my opinion, you need not listen to them. If they truly wanted to say something, they would say it like a man (or women), in front of your face.
Is it really safe anymore? One of the other things that concern me is the mass number of online predators there are on Myspace. While there have been several cases of online predators, some of them have been put away. There are many things going on right now that includes the social networking site Myspace. While headlines that tie MySpace to teen suicide, violence — and especially sexual predators, what will the future be like for Myspace? What kind of reputation will Myspace have on the future? That is one of my questions that can only be answered with time, and hopefully the answer will be a good one (which is what we all want).
Enough of the things that have had a negative impact on Myspace. There have also been good reports that also included Myspace. Such as the report that showed that Myspace can bring the shy out of anyone. Also Myspace is a really good way for talking and meeting new friends (you just have to be careful on who you meet). While those are some of probably several reasons Myspace is good, I can't think of anything else (since I not a Myspace person). What do you think will happen to Myspace?
