Where Could Porn Files Hide?
Pornography! Yes, it's a weird thing to say here (not really), but believe it or not, we are becoming surrounded more by Pornography. At the same time everyone likes it (well not all) but you got to admit that there is a lot of....guys/gals that like watching it. But the thing isn't about adults anymore. More and more pictures, videos, or any Pornography related content is being shown to children under the age of 17. We can't really do anything because many adult sites have began to add pages on the indexs before you enter making you accept a Terms of Service before entering the site, and if you're underage, well, the parents can't do anything, except to do something to you if you shouldn't be watching it.

The main thing is when children go to see Pornography, many like saving the videos on to their computer. While many parents like installing easy programs or program filters to block out any nudity or bad words on pages/websites on their computer, sometimes the filters may not work. Proxies have been proven useful sometimes to help go through the filters, but most of the times still are blocked by filters also.

Where Could Porn Files Hide?Sometimes you might have "Porn Pop-ups" that might popup out of nowhere and someone under 17 might "Accidentally on Purpose" click on the popup and then leads them to a site where it's full of pictures and videos. Many of the times, users like saving these pictures and videos onto their computer and sometimes using "hidden" techniques that parents can't find (unless they are geeks). So how can one hide these files and find them? Well its easy, some of the ways are:

  • Using Hidden Folders by going to going to the folder where you want to save it and going to Tools> Folder Options > Then Selecting the View tab and checking "Do not show hidden files and folders" under Hidden Files and Folders, and then to reverse the effect, do the opposite by selecting Show Hidden Files and Folders.
  • Saving the files deep in the system files and folders (such as C:/Windows or C:/Program Files)
  • Using Nifty little programs to password protect your folders
  • Or simply saving it to a flashdrive or external disk
  • Simple to hide but at the same, simple to get caught. Many of 12+ year olds have already seen videos/pictures, it's only a matter of time until it becomes legal (which I hope DOESN'T happen).
