Worst Security Risks?
In all my years of computing, I have always wondered which of all security risks are the "worst". This really depends on experience from technology and getting infected also. For example, If you got infected by viruses only and never spyware, you would think that viruses are the worst because, well, that's the only security risk you've been infected by. So which security risk do you think is the worst? That's really up to you, but I will give my opinion on the top 3 security risks in which I think is the worst of the worst.

There are lots of security risks. By that I mean the types of risks that can go on to your computer. Some examples of security risks are trojans, regular viruses, spyware, and adware are the most popular ones. While all of these are considered to be the worst (in some cases), but in my opinion and others (which I asked while making this article) on which ones were the worst. Now the list of all types of security risks (well most of them):

  • Spyware
  • Adware
  • Trojans Horses
  • Keylogger
  • Worms
  • Dialers
  • Hack Tools
  • Joke Programs
  • Remote Access Trojans (RAT)
  • Hoaxes
  • Trackware
  • RootKit
  • Misleading Applications
  • Viruses (Regular & Stealth)

What's In Your Computer?
If you could think of any more, you can comment on it below, in most cases I forget the type of security risks there are. Now these are most of them and many of these have the worst effects depending on their creator and in MANY cases the VCK ( Virus Contruction Kits, Yes, they do exist!). Many of these are the worst already. So which ones are the worst ones? I will explain the main cause, how you get it, and what it mainly does.

#1Keylogger: My first choice of the worst (out of the 3) is a keylogger. It could infect your system as attach itself into many files (including explorer.exe) and will track down and jot down every keystroke and writes all your information into a text file which is then sent to the creator. This can include any information you login on such as your Myspace, Bank Accounts, Email accounts, or any other accounts.

#2Trojan Horse: I hate trojans! (and not the football team). Trojans are by far the second worst I have encountered. Not only do they infect your system, they communicate with the creator to then download more security risks which can include any of the above! They can create many problems depending on what you get (and download).

#3Spyware: I'm serious, those annoying pop-ups and bogus system warnings get on my nerves. Sometimes there are so many pop-ups that they freeze your system. If you do have spyware while reading this, I would insist Safe Mode for the best results of removal, or just reformat!

While there are many horror stories from users from getting different kindo f security risks. These 3 are the biggest I've encountered with (as well as clients I've worked with). If you do have a horror story, be the several first to post in our new forum and show us your stories. And will lead to giving us your opinion of, Which security is the worst?
