Which Browser To Use? One of the most asked questions that many users ask to real geeks is "Which Browser do you use?". While many of us have different answers, it all depends on the most popular ones. Browsers are important to us, because it makes our surfing the way it is depending on the browser, for example: If you have a slow browser that has a lot of bugs, wouldn't that kill a lot of fun in your web surfing? Browsers are important to surfing and security especially, but that is only the beginning of many important rules and things about browsers. Considering the hundreds of browser out there, which one would you use on your computer and internet surfing?
Lets start with some of the popular ones out there, Firefox is a very popular browser today. With many users also excited about the upcoming release of Firefox 3, there's no telling how far Firefox will get to having the number of users increase. Firefox in my experience has become my default browser because of several things:
-Security
-Flexibility
-Speed
Don't get me wrong, Firefox is a very useful browser but also has become quite a memory hogger but uses minimal disk space. Overall, Firefox is a very powerful and fast, secure browser, thumbs up Mozilla.
Internet Explorer is also a popular browser too, besides it's past versions that had many security vulnerabilities and speed sucked, but Internet Explorer has improved dramatically over the months. Internet Explorer has good areas in flexibility and speed (when combined with a fast computer). Loading speed and startup speed of some parts of Internet Explorer have stayed the same. The good thing is that many webpages and applications now require to be viewed by Internet Explorer (good for Microsoft, bad for Firefox users and other browser users). Still Microsoft has kept up the good with keeping Internet Explorer up to date and good.
Opera has not been heard a lot online, but still maintains its huge community that has been growing over the years. Opera has also improved since its last versions. Not many og the users I talk to everyday use Opera but it is still a choice to use. New security fixes as well as speed has improved a lot, and I gotta say that it is less of a memory hogger than Firefox (still won't change my mind about using Firefox though). I can't wait to see the next version of Opera come out to test!
Depending on new versions that will come out, which browser would you use overall? Would you stick wit the one you have? Who's better in the area of security, flexibility, and speed? Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explore have a lot to battle in between.
